Caroline Maudsley

My early life was spent as a gardener for Bath Parks and then working in many private gardens around Bath. Following children and uni (in that order!) I now work in a school in Bristol and gaze out of the window between lessons wishing that I was walking on the Somerset levels, sitting in a bird hide at Chew Valley or watching Otters at Ashcott. I am a part time naturalist who has to indulge her passions at the weekends and in my nice long holidays!

Seems a long time since I spent six weeks raking leaves in Bath’s Botanic gardens as a new apprentice gardener.

My blog is going to be about the nature I encounter in my day to day life and produce something that someone may want to read.
